The Dartmoor Halfway Inn was recently lovingly transformed from a derelict pub to a vibrant hub, with plenty of space for larger parties, an intimate meal for two or somewhere comfortable to relax and refuel after long treks or cycles over the moors being close to Dartmoor National Park.

We pride ourselves on our traditional home cooked food, great selection of local ales and ciders, traditional wines and malt whiskies, gins, vodkas, liqueurs & aperitifs and warm hospitality.

We love good home cooked and traditional food. Our team of chefs take care to ensure our food is locally sourced where possible and is freshly cooked to order. The specials board changes daily and the menus with the seasons. Our offers include a ‘lighter bites section’ so perhaps we can accommodate your needs before or after a walk on the Dartmoor.

We pride ourselves on the selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes we provide and many other special dietary requirements upon request.

Real ales and fine wines complement the menu, not to mention a good selection of spirits with over 20 different gins, a great selection of malts & vodkas to try.

So when you are eating out in Newton Abbot Devon, come and visit us.
