Voted in the Top 10 Classic Destinations 2018, Moretonhampstead Motor Museum is home to a collection of over 150 vintage and classic vehicles, including pre-1920s to the 1990s. Run by local motoring enthusiast Frank Loft, the museum is housed in a newly refurbished bus depot in Moretonhampstead, Devon. The collection is complemented by motoring artefacts and automobilia, and the viewable restoration workshop makes it more than just a museum.

We have over 150 vintage vehicles, from Victorian horse-drawn carts to cars, motorcycles and light commercial vehicles from pre-1920s to the 1990s. Run by two local motoring enthusiasts, Frank Loft and Pete Lofts, the museum is housed in a newly refurbished bus depot in Moretonhampstead, Devon. The collection is complemented by motoring artefacts and automobilia, and the viewable restoration workshop makes it more than just a museum.

You don't need to miss out on any of our exhibits as we have a stairlift to ensure you can access the mezzanine level. On the upper floor we have a great collection of motorbikes, motoring artefacts and automobilia, plus you get a great view of all the exhibits on the ground floor.
