Who are we?

Dartmoor Accommodation is a family run business, owned and managed by myself (Lisa), my partner (Julian) and our westie Poppy, from the heart of Dartmoor National Park. Founded over 25 years ago as a handy guide to locals we are now a stalwart for fantastic and unique places to stay and offer all visitors a vital holiday-planning tool to this beautiful part of Devon.

 

 From tranquil campsites to cosy inns, welcoming B&Bs to self-catering holiday cottages and hotels. throughout the pages on this site we have worked closely with the individuals behind our local hospitality business's to deliver a comprehensive guide to the good and great of places to stay on the (and around) the Moor.

It's important to say that we are so much more than just a holiday accommodation website. Having worked in the tourism industry for many years (and even run our own Dartmoor Thatched Inn and holiday cottage) we appreciate the importance of personal recommendations, local tips and information on where to go and what to do when on holiday. Between my partner and I we have personally visited many of the featured properties. We never take direct bookings but strive to provide you with everything you need to know to make the best choice for your perfect Dartmoor #staycation time and time again.
